Privacy policy
Tactomo reads what you type so it can show the right key and finger. That reading happens on your Mac and stays there. This page lists the few things that do travel over the network, and why.

With the Input Monitoring permission, the app sees which physical keys you press. With the Accessibility permission, it finds the text field you are typing in so the overlay and speedometer can follow your work. Key events are used to render the overlay and to compute your typing statistics. Statistics, settings and practice history are stored in your user folder on your Mac. None of it is sent anywhere, and the app keeps no log of what you write.
That is the complete list. There are no analytics, no crash reports, no advertising identifiers and no telemetry of any kind.
Payment is handled by Polar Software Inc., which acts as the merchant of record. Polar collects your name, email address, billing country and payment details, and issues your receipt and license key. Polar's own privacy policy applies to that processing. We receive your email address and order details so we can answer support requests and help you find your key again.
tactomo.com is a static site. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. The hosting provider may keep standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.
Under the GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Email [email protected] and we will answer within 30 days. Everything the app stores on your Mac is yours to delete at any time by removing the app and its data folder.
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date. We will never add tracking without saying so plainly on this page.
